Britanska soul-pop grupa Simply Red u okviru svoje oproštajne svetske turneje u Beogradu, saopštila je Beogradska arena, koja organizuje koncert sa „Avalon produkcijom” iz Skoplja

„Kalemegdan je odabran kao mesto održavanja jer je Beogradska arena u tom terminu zauzeta zbog priprema Univerzijade. Bend je na oproštajnoj turneji do leta 2010. godine i na njoj promoviše svoj poslednji album 'The Greatest Hits 25'”, saopštila je Arena.

„U februaru 2009. počeli su turneju 'Greatest Hits World Tour', kojom obeležavaju 25 godina od osnivanja. Do kraja 2010. nastupiće pred više od milion ljudi. Turneju počinju u Tajlandu, slede Australija, Novi Zeland, Meksiko, Brazil, Čile i SAD, a potom se vraćaju u Evropu”, navode iz Arene.

Simply red je u avgustu 2006. godine održao koncert u dvorani Pionir, koji je završio sa nekoliko biseva i obećanje Beograđanima da će uskoro ponovo doći.

Ulaznice za koncert britanske grupe "Simply Red", koji će se održati 26. juna na Kalemegdanu, biće puštene u prodaju 30. marta po ceni od 2950 dinara za parter

Broj karata biće ograničen na 8000, a prodavaće se na biletarnici Beogradske arene, u Bilet servisu, preko Eventima, Card Service-a, u IPS-u, Mamut Store-u, kao i putem sajtova www.arenabeograd.com i www.tickets.rs.

"Simply red" nastupaju u Beogradu, na terenima KK "Partizan" na Kalemegdanu, u okviru oproštajne svetske turneje pod nazivom „25 godina hitova".

Karijera benda "Simply red" traje već tri decenije; objavili su 10 studijskih albuma prodatih u preko 50 miliona primeraka širom sveta, sa preko 30 singlova koji su se našli među 40 najbolji numera britanske top-liste.

Osvojili su veliki broj nagrada među kojima se uzdvajaju 3 Brit nagrade i specijalna Mobo nagrada. Dobili su priznanje koje je retkost za umetnike koji dolaze iz Velike Britanije, a to su čak dva hita na prvom mestu top-lista u Americi.

Album “Stars” bio je najprodavaniji album u Velikoj Britaniji dve godine za redom.

Nastupali su uživo preko 1000 puta pred ukupno 10 miliona posetilaca.
